The second important point is the mandatory cleaning of the surface from dirt and dust. Before starting work, it is necessary to insulate the facade using an insulating material. You should also worry about the soundproofing of the facade.

When cladding the base, a ledge is first created outside the wall, due to which an air gap is formed. Installation of clinker bricks or other types of it is carried out according to the following principle:

• the material is laid in rows, observing verticality and horizontality;
• after forming 5-6 rows, you need to take a break, waiting for the mortar to shrink;
• the seams should be 8-15 mm thick;
• the width of the ventilation gap between the base wall and the facing layer is recommended from 25 mm;
• connection to the main wall is carried out using flexible ties, which are laid between the bricks, fixed to the wall;
• the work is carried out only in dry weather, the ambient temperature should not be below zero degrees.

When laying bricks, it is necessary to take into account its type, the level of moisture absorption and the recommended temperature regime. Experts advise using adhesive mortar from dry mixes for porcelain stoneware or acrylic glue in the work. The advantage of the latter format is the potential for selection by color of the tile.
