2. Classic insulation of walls under siding. In this case, the installation of the lathing is also carried out with a step of the inter-frame distance of 60 cm. Next, the insulation is laid, after which another frame is formed, perpendicular to the first. By laying a second layer of insulation in it, the user gets the absence of cold bridges.

When laying the insulation in both cases, after covering it with a film, it is necessary to form an air gap between it and the siding - at least 50 mm. Thus, we get a ventilated facade that prevents wetting and the appearance of the rotting process.

When laying siding with insulation, it is advisable to pay attention to the following points:

• The insulation cannot be stored outside before work - the slightest moisture leads to its deterioration;
• By reducing the step of the lathing by 10-15 cm, you can install the insulation without using additional fasteners;
• During the work, you should not ignore personal protective equipment - experts recommend using gloves, glasses, and a respirator.
